Hangdog is a climbing term for when climbers rest on a rope. Climbers hangdog when it’s time to take a rest, take in the views and enjoy the adventure. But, hangdog isn’t just a moment in climbing, but a lifestyle, and our team is bringing that to the Lehigh Valley.

What should I wear?
We recommend climbers wear comfortable, preferably athletic clothing that allow for mobility as they traverse the course. Please note that closed toe shoes are required.
Is it safe?
Safety is our top priority at HangDog Outdoor Adventure. All climbing guests wear a full body harness equipped with our clic-it system. Guests will receive a safety briefing on ground where a team member will ensure that their harness is properly secured, followed by safety instructions and demonstrations to help climbers feel confident and safe on the cocurse. Once climbers step foot onto the course they will be clicked in at two points. Our smart system will not fully unclip until the climber has returned to one of the designated entrance/exit points where a team member will support the climber in clicking out and off the course.
How old and tall do I have to be to climb?
We welcome climbers ages 5+. Climbers under 48” of height will only be allowed on the kids course and will not be allowed to access zipline elements. All climbers under the age of 8 and/or shorter than 53” in height must be accompanied by an adult 18+ years old.
Are there weight limits?
180 pounds max for the Kids Course and 280 pounds max for the Adventure Course.

Is HangDog Brewing Co. family-friendly?
At HangDog Brewing Co. we don’t believe you should have to leave the littles at home to enjoy a great brew. Guests must be 21+ to drink alcoholic beverages but all others are welcome to eat, play lawn games, enjoy live entertainment and more.
Do you have live music?
Visit our calendar of events to keep up with our live entertainment schedule.
Can I host a private event at HangDog?
HangDog Outdoor Adventure offers semi-private events as well as partial and fully buyouts of our adventure destination. Visit our Book Your Fun page for more information and reach out to our events manager, Carleen, at email@example.com to plan your event.
You can cancel your reservation anytime before the start of your first activity. We will immediately add the full value of your purchase onto the climber's account. You may apply it anytime towards a new activity date and time. Groups of 10 or more require a 48-hour notice before the reservation.
The Adventure Park is open rain or shine, so we recommend dressing for the weather. If you don’t want to climb in the rain, you may always reschedule for a later time in the day or for a different day even if we remain open. We monitor for lightning, heavy rain, and high winds and will close the course as necessary to keep our guests and staff safe. If there are high winds, we may have to temporarily close the Zipline and/or our Free Fall, but the rest of the park will remain open.
Outside Food & Beverage Permitted?
Unfortunately, No. We do not permit outside food and beverage.
Who is Dewey?
Dewey is both a mascot and owner, Mike McCreary’s dog. While the idea brewed in the team’s minds, they agreed that Dewey had to be a part of it. Thankfully, Dewey let us borrow her name, image, and likeness to inspire our branding. Fun Fact: HangDog colors were even pulled straight from her multi-color collar. Talk about a stylish pup!
